social dog movement

Sheltered and fostered dogs struggle with the ability to trust others. By introducing these dogs to a new positive environment, they will possibly find a new home and take one step closer to becoming behaviorally sound.

Therapeutic interactions with animals in a social environment can benefit the human in need, as well as the dog. The festival is an event where individuals can go interact with sheltered or fostered dogs while enjoying a drink with friends. Dogs can be of great help to individuals suffering from mental disorders. Whether they have a pet or not, the Old Town Beer, Wine & Dog Festival is an event anyone can attend and benefit from the presence of a dog.
